Match From EVO 2009: VDO vs. Potter

kenI swear videos like the one below are what I love to see in MvC2. The video is of VDO and Potter from this past EVO (2009) tournament. I really respect VDO for two reasons:

  1. He handed a serious beating to me at EVO North in the Spring
  2. He can hold his own using low-tier teams against opponents using top tiers

So rarely do you see somebody take the time to actually learn the ins and outs with low tiers and get creative with their combos. This man’s Ken is one of the best I have ever seen and his Rogue and Colossus round out his team perfectly. Even faced against Storm players (who have the most disdain for because of her turtleing nature), he makes it work and manages to get W’s. Yea man VDO is the truth. He ripped me apart when we played. It was good experience though.

oh tru? im not even competition worthy im pretty bad at mvc2 but im trying to get up there

Yea I can hold my own in tournaments, but I won’t be winning any time soon.
