A little while ago I hinted at the idea of giving away an Official MadCatz MvC2 fighting stick ($159 value) as a prize for some sort of contest. I was not exactly sure what type of contest at the time and played around with a few different ideas. I thought about an online tournament to decide who gets the stick but that would not be fair to everybody. With the learning curve being so steep in Marvel, some would have an unfair advantage over others. So I had to come up with a way to get everybody a fair shot and I finally decided on how to go about it.
Ok so here is the scoop. To enter the contest you need to do 2 very simple things.
- Sign up for the newsletter (if you are already signed up, you can skip to step 2.)
- Sign up and post a message in the forum in this thread HERE.
The message should explain why you should win and what makes you stand out amongst the rest of the MvC2 community. Make your post good because I will be judging and selecting a winner based on the quality of the entry.
Once the winner is chosen I will email them letting them know the good news. If I do not here back from them in two days, I will select a new winner. I will also ask which version of the stick they would like (PS3 or 360) and where to have it shipped to. Once that information has been collected I will place the order online and ship the item to the address given. The contest will run for two weeks from today ending on the 21st of November.
