When it comes to card games I personally have always been a Blackjack man. Yet, poker is everywhere and I realized that if I want to be able to function properly in social settings that I should have a much more rounded repertoire of skills. So of course I would need to start my tutelage some where and what better place than poker guide for beginners.
The guide really does a good job of breaking down the game for new players such as myself. It goes over everything from winning money, types of players, and psychological games. Tips like this will really come in handy and its great to have one resource that has all the information I will need.
One section of the site that stands out to me is the “Secure Shuffling” section. In this section they go over how to determine whether your games shuffling system is secure and how the actual security works. It breaks down the algorithm’s used to randomize the cards and what to look for during games. Things like this I would have never even thought of when it came to online poker.
Another section I found helpful is the glossary. This is pretty much straight forward. It is a place with all the most commonly used poker terms that you will need to know if you want to be successful in the game. Think about the times before you knew what a DHC was or the meaning of “Scoops Haagen-Daz” in Marvel. Well you do not have to worry about that in poker with a glossary of terms on your side.
So if you are a poker aficionado or a new player to the game, I highly recommend poker guide for beginners to you for all your needs.
