Can Anybody Explain This?

I have never seen Sentinel hit his Plasma Storm for such a long time like it is displayed below. If anybody knows exactly what is going on here please enlighten me. Thanks in advance.

The player is just using a turbo controller to mash extremely fast.

More specifically, the mashing is done with something weird like, I believe, LP+LK and FP+FK seperately (or something similar)
